For one: When I raise the deck to the highest height, and turn on the blades, they run fairly well but I can hear the blades changing speeds as I go through different height grass. When I lower the height, the blades turn off when I get down around height 3 or 4.

Hey Everyone, I have a Ltx 1842 and the motor died :mad: and I have the chance to buy a Ltx 2146, but the deck is bad :( . My question is, can my Ltx-1842 Deck be put onto the Ltx-2146 mower? The both have quick release decks. The Ltx-1842 has the handle to engage the blades and the Ltx-2146 has an electric button to engage the blades, if that matters at all.
